Anatomy of missing II

 anatomy of missing II

If i squint i see you
when i don`t my eyes reflect your image
When inhaling i smell your aura
sometimes i don`t breathe so I can store
your scent inside me for longer
My lips keep on searching this warm , volatile texture of your lips
But it`s always tear molecules that
they abruptly are crashed into...
My limbs...
My cold cold limbs feel like numbed
after long time embracing emptiness
My mind...
that is the cheeriest one amongst them
It`s the holder of the memories
so it can still float on happy moods
and after all i think that
heaven is only left in my mind...

note : poem and photos (c) Eni Turkeshi

Sometimes I am sweet.
Sometimes I am sour.
Sometimes I am bitter.
Sometimes the sky cries.
Sometimes the whole universe is gloomy.
Sometimes my mind gets slow.
Sometimes my heart gets drunk.
Sometimes my limbs get numbed.
Sometimes I forget to breathe.
Sometimes rivers shimmer my eyes.
Sometimes inertia tries to swing me.
Sometimes the time is not any more a matter of time.
Sometimes it`s cold.
Sometimes I shine.
Sometimes I hail to null.
And still…
All the time I never cease to miss you..

Deseando amar

give those looks a meaning
they are never thrown in vain
try to understand the purpose of those smiles
they are never sent to the wrong address
catch the body language
it will never lie to you
never underestimate coincidences
for they might not always be so

Illusionary suns

Illusionary suns

How beautiful it would be if we could be aware of the illusionary suns that surround us?
Those suns that illuminate us , make us feel warmer , enlight our day and hearts!
It`s not that hard to achieve it , we just need to observe a little more ;)

Redscale-Multiple Exposure-Fisheye -Prague

Redscale-MultipleExposure-Fisheye-Analogue-Prague

My last visit to Prague was more interesting i would say;)
Not only because the weather was nice and warm and sunny & not only because spring has bursted so wonderfully in this lovely city.

Redscale-MultipleExposure-Fisheye-Analogue-Prague

My most exciting experience this time , was trying redscale film ;)
I think Prague is one of the best places to do this;)
For those of you who do not know redscale film , it is a photographic experiment in which you expose the film in the wrong side (a.k.a the other side that the emulsion is).
For more infos check here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redscale

Redscale-MultipleExposure-Fisheye-Analogue-Prague

I was introduced to this beauty by one of my hungarian friends
(check his photos here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/photoactive/)
and thank you btw Attila ;)
I was stunned by the crazy colors so decided to try it.

Redscale-MultipleExposure-Fisheye-Analogue-Prague

But i thought that taking multiple exposures and using fisheye lens would make this photos even crazier so i did it that way (and once again thanks for your camera Attila;)

Photobucket

Unfortunately something went wrong with the first film so i had only one other redscale film left, but i`m really happy with the colors and results in general;)
Hope you`ll enjoy too;)
Here are some of the photos from my first redscale film ;)
More to come soon;)

Fragile Spring

fragile spring

note all images : © Eni Turkeshi Photography

Photobucket
That`s how the spring seemed this year to me...
Totally fragile and shelterless.

It was like spring was struggling to find a place for itself through the alcoves of winter and autumn.

Photobucket

Maybe it looks so because the autumn and winter seemed to be so long and interminable.
Maybe because of the bitter taste some part of these seasons left.

Photobucket
I guess this is also the reason that all these seasons still look like compounded.
Traces from the past seasons can be seen and felt everywhere.

Photobucket
All the places look abandoned and bloomed at the same time.
It`s really a strange feeling to see this blend.

Photobucket

I can see & perceive numerous awakenings amongst still lasting hibernations.
But they are still weak somehow.

spring is close

It was the first time for me to experience almost 3 seasons at the same time so i had to document this in photos;)

Spring is close

Light magic

all images :© Eni Turkeshi Photography

A friend of mine asked me to post something new so here i am.
I`m very short of words nowadays, so my easiest and best escape is to express myself with photos.
The story of this post is again regarded to the magic of light.
A month ago when i took this photos , i was mesmerized by light in some of Tirana`s old streets.

And thought to share this with you since i miss Tirana ;) hope you enjoy;)

Of reflections and truths

photo :© Eni Turkeshi Photography

No matter how cleverly you sneak up on a mirror, your reflection always looks you straight in the eye.

I have heard this quote in a movie i like very much and when i first heard it , i was stuck repeating it all day ;)
It was really one of the truest words ever said.

Mirrors are some of the rare places (our interior reasoning shelters are an exception of course:) , where we never success to cajole ourselves.
Of course it`s easier to do that with others , but yourself, can you really cheat?

It might look like an unimportant thing , but it`s not.
Even under our most pretentious, mighty, supreme look , you can sense the granules of senility, fear & uncertainty floating through your eyes.

And it`s in this moment that you understand how in vain all of this is.

So maybe the healthiest and wisest thing might be to relax and look at yourself the way you really feel.
Talking to yourself can be another alternative as well.It might make you feel relieved after all;)

What? Have you never talked to yourself while looking at a mirror?
Nonsense..i wouldn`t believe this crap.
And even if it`s so , i think this is just a form of self escape or a form of self prevail.
But that would not be a relieve , but merely a disguise or a temporary postponing of fears you are still escaping from.

For that reason i think the best and the first thing to deal with this would be , learning how to look bravely and sincerely to yourself.
Later on ,this might be a leading light to your dark soul interiors.

Some possibly tough questions

© Eni Turkeshi Photography

can you control suspension?
can you heal obsession?
can you fake tranquility?
can you make the air lighter?
can you restrain a demanding soul?
can you sober a rebel heart?
can you stop thoughts suffocation?
and please , oh please :can you comb my nerves?

Happy Manic Monday !

© Eni Turkeshi Photography

I don`t know your opinion on Mondays , but i`m definitely not a fan of them;)

It`s not clear why i don`t like them , but it has been so for ages ...

For that reason i decided to start a new project ;)
Here you may see 2 photos from the set.

Don`t be surprised if you see some colorful photos in this set;)
These ones symbolize my optimistic intentions ;))

After rain freshness

Photobucket

© Eni Turkeshi Photography

i like the rain but especially love how everything looks after it stops.
it looks like everything is different after it.

especially love the after rain freshness.
love the colors, love how the ground smells and how fresh air surrounds me...
everything seems so clear and refreshing.so uncomplicated and plain.

it reminds me of the unforgettable Pink Floyd`s `High Hopes` verses :

The grass was greener
The light was brighter
The taste was sweeter

Catch the rainbow

Photobucket

© Eni Turkeshi Photography

After a long period of rainy days , last day i stumbled upon a marvelous rainbow in Tirana. It was really amazing at least for me since i have not experienced many of them.

And i can definitely say that ,up to know except for the rainbow i had seen in Bosphorus ,Istanbul this was the most amazing one ;)
It looked like it was dividing the city ;)

I had never seen a rainbow looking so close to the city and so down to earth ;)
I wanted to share this genuine moment with you ;)
Enjoy the lovely rainbow of Tirana!

ps : you might want to listen to this while watching the photo ;)

Peeling the blues off

© Eni Turkeshi Photography

I was thinking about the mood of being blue and about passing the experience of getting yourself relieved from it.

And i was thinking that the `the blues`may as well be compared to an onion.
Because `the blues` it as well as complicated and not a mere mold that stitches to our soul.
It has it`s own layers, each of them differently morphing our hidden soul shelters.

And it may cause tears , trying to peel off this layers.
Because , just like an onion`s layers allergy effect on eyes, they might cause soul allergy.

It is said that to make peeling of an onion less arduous you need to put it on water first.
Unfortunately there are not yet any tips about how to make easier the peeling of the blues !

awareness on "artistic"egoism

http://www.facebook.com/inbox/readmessage.php?t=57823968933#/video/video.php?v=1047327936724&ref=mf

I was speechless. It stroke me right to the heart.
This video , made me re-think on an issue i'm always very sensible while taking photos.
Trying not to be egoist.
I always try not to act this way , eventhough sometimes it might be hard .
I mean , you just can't fight the instict to paralyse that special moment.
I don't know what forces me to do it , but sometimes it can be stronger than you.
You just want to capture that "very moment".
Nevertheless, what I have always tried to do , while taking photos of people, was approaching to them in a very sincere & honest way.
I know this might be risky on loosing the candid moments and the naivete, but still i don't find it honest to get advantage of some situations that might turn out to be "great artistic hits".
I don't find it ethic , to profit by such hard situations , just to achieve , a genuine work.
Of course i don't have any word on photojournalist or war photographers , they're just documenting a fact , that's gonna be history later on.
My word is , on popular-wanna be photographers , that barefacedly try to get this "particular gems that are screaming human pain" .
This one , yes i do detest.
We owe some respect & reliance to the people whose feelings of (pain, madness, loneliness etc) are documented and scattered everywhere. This is the least that should be done.

Azizcan

© Eni Turkeshi Photography

On my trip from the asiatic part of Istanbul to the european one, i was looking thoughtful through the ferry to find s.t/s.one interesting to take the picture of.

Suddenly , i run across the keen, stark eyes of this kid looking at me in a very curious way.

When i directed the camera he started to laugh and to pose , like he'd been a model his whole life:)

He was so happy to be photographed and i was so glad to find such a lovely, cute volunteer poser.
After taking the photo , i told his mom (who thanked me a lot too), that i could post this pic to her email.

She told me she didn't have one and she added in a very proud and generous way :
Let this be a memory from him.

His name is Azizcan:) Don't forget about him.

Tell me , can i ever forget about him ? :)

Bookworming can be fun ;)

© Eni Turkeshi Photography

Yes it can be fun , especially when you are tagged:)

What i love more from flickr , is that gives me the possibility to get to know amazing creative people with cool ideas.
I don't like very much uploading self portraits all the time , but this time i really had a lot of fun:)
The rules were this way:

[A]
1. Sit down.
2. Take a picture of yourself right now. Don't primp, just snap one!(i just changed the tones;)
3. Upload it.
4. Tag 5 people to do the same .Actually i did this on flickr so i tagged my flickr contats , but since i'm sharing this with you i'm tagging these blogger friends of mine:)

(I tag : belle,elais,akull,alidea,bletebzz )

[B]
make a pic of yourself with the book you are reading and listening to some music.

I was listening to
/_/Cries+And+Whispers">Cries and Whispers
melody from Old Boy Movie. Now i'm reading Yasushi Inoue's book named: Three women

while trying to get my portrait and reflections from the window , i had some stupid , funny moments (i had push the record button ,instead of the other one so i accidentally recorded this comic video:)
enjoy and don't forget to keep the promise guys:)
