My last visit to Prague was more interesting i would say;) Not only because the weather was nice and warm and sunny & not only because spring has bursted so wonderfully in this lovely city.
My most exciting experience this time , was trying redscale film ;) I think Prague is one of the best places to do this;) For those of you who do not know redscale film , it is a photographic experiment in which you expose the film in the wrong side (a.k.a the other side that the emulsion is). For more infos check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redscale
I was introduced to this beauty by one of my hungarian friends (check his photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/photoactive/) and thank you btw Attila ;) I was stunned by the crazy colors so decided to try it.
But i thought that taking multiple exposures and using fisheye lens would make this photos even crazier so i did it that way (and once again thanks for your camera Attila;)
Unfortunately something went wrong with the first film so i had only one other redscale film left, but i`m really happy with the colors and results in general;) Hope you`ll enjoy too;) Here are some of the photos from my first redscale film ;) More to come soon;)
Yes i`m not there but i`d like to be for a while just to enjoy this splendid festival;) I`m posting an old photo of mine here;)
As far as i read from internet , this year 9.300.000 tulips of 82 different types have been planted. This costed around 750.000 euro. Since the year 2004 when this festival started 45.475.000 tulips have been planted.
That`s how the spring seemed this year to me... Totally fragile and shelterless. It was like spring was struggling to find a place for itself through the alcoves of winter and autumn.
Maybe it looks so because the autumn and winter seemed to be so long and interminable. Maybe because of the bitter taste some part of these seasons left.
I guess this is also the reason that all these seasons still look like compounded. Traces from the past seasons can be seen and felt everywhere.
All the places look abandoned and bloomed at the same time. It`s really a strange feeling to see this blend.
I can see & perceive numerous awakenings amongst still lasting hibernations. But they are still weak somehow.
It was the first time for me to experience almost 3 seasons at the same time so i had to document this in photos;)
Maybe this title may sound a bit exaggerated , but it is this way I think women are perceived at times! I'm not a feminist, never have I been (eventhough I wouldn't be embarrased to tell so if I was one) , but this is the disturbing reality. Happy women`s day to all!
Urban life has always grabbed my attention with it`s hiperactivity, variety, contrasts of living, beauty and ugliness. The name `tales` is actually used because i do believe that all of the above said elements and features make each city genuine on it`s own. Photos shown in this slideshow are photos of 18 different cities of Europe and Asia. The cities are written as below: Albania:Tirana ,Pogradec Iceland:Reykjavik,Haukadartur Belgium:Brussels ,Gent Germany:Berlin France:Paris Sweden:Gothenburg Denmark:Vraa,Aalborg Czech Republic :Prague Turkey:Istanbul,Vize,Capadoccia,Mardin Montenegro:Budva The Netherlands:Amsterdam
These photos have been taken in this last 3,5 years since i started to take photos more `seriosly`;) Most of them are taken with my point and shoot camera. Hope you`ll enjoy this `Urban Tales`

We invite the photographers' community to donate a photography and we will try to organize an exhibition to help the Shkodra citizens.
The idea is creating a mini-exhibition aiming to sell these photos which can cover any subject. The photos can be stock photos, portraits, landscapes and even photos from the floods' days.
Sent your photos at info@projekt56.com , subject of the e-mail NDIHMA PER SHKODREN.
We are trying to put together 50 that sell to organize an interesting exhibition that will help the damaged families.
I`m in love with everything vintage and i think this was one of the best vintage shops to visit.
You could find there different objects and also different kind of food, beverages and cigarettes.
But not only them of course;)Lots of toys, fancy toy saving boxes, colorful yarns , kitchen stuff etc etc.
If it was for me i`d spend a long long time there , having a look at every detail of this cute store. But the bus had to leave so i tried to get some photos to keep them in my mind ;)
For a moment i felt like Amelie that found that old box in her apartment ;)I couldn`t help it;) I hope you will enjoy looking at the photos too;)
