Amaneti i Nazim Hikmet
Kete poezi poeti e ka shkruar ne nje kohe qe ka qene i semure jashte atdheut te tij.
Sic shume prej jush mund ta dini , ketij poeti te madh i qe hequr kombesia e shtetit te vet dhe ai vdiq me kete pikellim.Kombesia ju rikthye vitin e kaluar , tashme shume vone , por sidoqofte ju kthye me ne fund.

do të dergjemi poshtë dheut tejembanë ,

Rain Lullaby
all photos :© Eni Turkeshi PhotographyRaindrop Rhythm

Heard the rhythm of the raindrops
Dripping to the ground.
Heard the rhythm of the raindrops
Dropping all around.
Heard the rhythm of the raindrops
Drumming on the rafter.
Heard the rhythm of the raindrops
Drowning out our laughter.
April Rain Song© Langston Hughes
Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.
The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk.
The rain makes running pools in the gutter.
the rain plays a little sleep-song on our roof at night -
And I love the rain.

A light exists in spring
© Eni Turkeshi PhotographyEmily Dickinson
A Light exists in Spring
Not present on the Year
At any other period —
When March is scarcely here
A Color stands abroad
On Solitary Fields
That Science cannot overtake
But Human Nature feels.
It waits upon the Lawn,
It shows the furthest Tree
Upon the furthest Slope you know
It almost speaks to you.
Then as Horizons step
Or Noons report away
Without the Formula of sound
It passes and we stay —
A quality of loss
Affecting our Content
As Trade had suddenly encroached
Upon a Sacrament.

I'm listening to Istanbul
© Eni Turkeshi PhotographyI am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed;
At first there blows a gentle breeze
And the leaves on the trees
Softly flutter or sway;
Out there, far away,
The bells of water carriers incessantly ring;
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed;
Then suddenly birds fly by,
Flocks of birds, high up, in a hue and cry
While nets are drawn in the fishing grounds
And a woman's feet begin to dabble in the water.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.
The Grand Bazaar is serene and cool,
A hubbub at the hub of the market,
Mosque yards are brimful of pigeons,
At the docks while hammers bang and clang
Spring winds bear the smell of sweat;
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed;
Still giddy since bygone bacchanals,
A seaside mansion with dingy boathouses is fast asleep,
Amid the din and drone of southern winds, reposed,
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.
Now a dainty girl walks by on the sidewalk:
Cusswords, tunes and songs, malapert remarks;
Something falls on the ground out of her hand,
It's a rose I guess.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed;
A bird flutters round your skirt;
I know your brow is moist with sweat
And your lips are wet.
A silver moon rises beyond the pine trees:
I can sense it all in your heart's throbbing.
I am listening to Istanbul, intent, my eyes closed.

Herds and Tillage

a very nice Albanian poem from a special Albanian poet called: Naim Frasheri
i think it fits perfectly to this image:
Oh mountains of Albania
Oh mountains of Albania and you, oh trees so lofty,
Broad plains with all your flowers, day and night I contemplate you,
You highlands so exquisite, and you streams and rivers sparkling,
Oh peaks and promontories, and you slopes, cliffs, verdant forests,
Of the herds and flocks I'll sing out which you hold and which you nourish.
Oh you blessed, sacred places, you inspire and delight me!
You, Albania, give me honour, and you name me as Albanian,
And my heart you have replenished both with ardour and desire.
Albania! Oh my mother! Though in exile I am longing,
My heart has ne'er forgotten all the love you've given to me.
When a lambkin from its flock strays and does hear its mother's bleating,
Once or twice it will give answer and will flee in her direction,
Were others, twenty-thirty fold, to block its path and scare it,
Despite its fright it would return, pass through them like an arrow,
Thus my wretched heart in exile, here in foreign land awaiting,
Hastens back unto that country, swift advancing and in longing.
Where cold spring water bubbles and cool breezes blow in summer,
Where the foliage grows so fairly, where the flowers have such fragrance,
Where the shepherd plays his reed pipe to the grazing of the cattle,
Where the goats, their bells resounding, rest, yes 'tis the land I long for.

Homazh per Nazim Hikmetin
Rreth Vdekjes
Ejani uluni miq,
mire se erdhet, na nderuat
E di qe erdhet teksa flija,
u futet ne qelizen time ,nga dritarja
Nuk e rrezuat as shishen e holle te ilaçeve
dhe as kutine e kuqe,
Me fytyrat tuaja rrezatim dritash te yjeve
u ulet dore me dore mbi koken time
Ejani uluni miq,
mire se erdhet, na nderuat
Pse me shikojne kaq çuditshem ne fytyre?
I biri i Osmanit Hashimi.
Sa çudi,
Po juve sikur kishit vdekur vella.
Ne portet e Stambollit
teksa ngarkonit qymyr ne nje anije Angleze,
se bashku me shporten e qymyrit
ne fund te ambarit...
Vinçi i anijes e kishte nxjerre kufomen tuaj
dhe gjaku juaj i kuq e kishte lare koken tuaj te zeze
perpara ores se daljes.
Kushedi sa dhimbje keni pasur..
Mos rrini ne kembe, uluni,
une kujtoja se ju kishit vdekur,
u futet ne qelizen time prej dritares.
Me fytyrat tuaja rrezatim dritash te yjeve
mire se erdhet, na nderuat
Jakup nga fshati Yayalar,
i dashur,
pershendetje.
Muharrir Ahmet Xhemil?
E pashe me syte e mi
Arkivolin tuaj
teksa hynte ne toke.
Madje me duket se arkivoli
qe me i shkurter se trupi juaj.
Nejse lere fare kete, Ahmet Xhemil,
s'paskeni hequr dore nga huqi juaj i vjeter,
ajo eshte shishe ilaçi
jo rakie
Per te fituar 50 grosh ne dite,
dhe per ta harruar boten
ashtu fillikat siç ishit
sa shume qe pinit...
Une kujtoja se ju kishit vdekur.
Ejani uluni miq,
mire se erdhet, na nderuat...
Nje poet i vjeter pers:
Thote -,"Vdekja eshte e drejte"
"E godet mbretin dhe varfanjakun me te njejten madheshti."
Hashim ,
Pse po habiteni?
Nuk e kishit degjuar vella,
per cilindo mbret qe vdes ne ambarin e nje anijeje
me nje shporte qymyri?...
Nje poet i vjeter pers:
Thote -,"Vdekja eshte e drejte"
Jakup,
Nje poet i vjeter pers:
Thote -,"Vdekja eshte e drejte"
Lereni shishen Ahmet Xhemil
Mos u nevrikosni kot,
E di ,
Ju thoni qe vdekja te jete e drejte,
duhet qe dhe jeta te jete e tille...
Nje poet i vjeter pers...
tere turfullim?

Who knows if the moon's?

who knows if the moon's a baloon,
coming out of a keen city in the sky-
-filled with pretty people?
(and if you and i should get into it,
if they should take me and take you into their baloon,
why then we'd go up higher with all the pretty people
than houses and steeples and clouds:
go sailing away and away sailing into a keen city
which nobody's ever visited,
where always it's Spring)
and everyone's in love and flowers pick themselves
