these pictures were taken on a lovely spring day in Vraa, North Denmark 2010.it felt like summer after a very long long winter.
we had so much fun that day , still miss it.

this was my first time i developed film in coffee.what can i say? one more reason to love coffee ;)
the results were very interesting.you can profit a more grainy and high contrast film.

Memories from Finland

I visited Finland in 2010 altogether with friends from the school i was attending by that time in Denmark.
We went by a cruise passing  from Stockholm to Helsinki.The cruise was a whole story by itself :) The journey was so much fun all the time , we kept drinking, partying, having fun with friends , seeing the crazy moon shining over the wild sea, breathing the ice cold air .It was quite surreal that whole damn trip i miss it !

I liked Helsinki , especially it`s nice , crazy architecture.The food was not always my cup of tea, but the fish was delicious and so were the soups.
I liked many hidden districts of Helsinki ( as usual:)
One cool district was the `design district`, very well known for different artists ateliers.
And of course KIASMA ;) Loved it`s awesome shape and artists`s works shown meanwhile (i`ll share some more related  pics in another post).
We also visited Kaapeli museum , a very rich museum in visual arts!Recommended!
Turku  was also visited altogether with the King`s castle , which was also a treat to the eyes.
Kerava city , a lovely miracle of nature , marveled me with the overwhelming beautiful trees and plants.As well as with its museum `Kerava taidemuseo`
I`m not so good with words, so i`ll let my photos to speak, promising i`ll come with more pic from this nice trip of mine.[ i`m not sure why it took me so long to post about it here :D]

 Flowers,sky, forest`s breeze , greenery , aura, aqua, air , smoke were kindly mixed with film and multiple exposure to bring you the `P s y c h e d e l i c a` series ..

Half photo marathon in Prague

The last assignment during our study trip in Prague was a half photo marathon.I say half photo marathon since the true one is supposed to last 24 hours , but ours was only 12 hours since it was our first time ;)
We had to take only one photo for a different subject every hour.
The subjects were decided by our teachers and i can say that some of them looked strange in my eyes first , but i liked them a lot after.
Especially the `download me` theme amused me a lot , even though i found it quite different in the begining;)
We could take the photos in digital or analogue , i took 11 photos in analogue and 1 in digital.Actually my aim was to get all of them in analogue, because that would be more challenging to me , a newbie in analogue and in fact i did, but i disliked the analogue version so i used the digital one instead .
It was a tiring day full of surprises.It started at 10.00 am and was over at 10.00 pm.
I took my last photo from the Charles Bridge (a so so photo in my opinion) and then rushed back to our appointment place.
Below you may find the whole themes and their respective photos i took in 12 hours ;)

Poetic Prague

The photos on this slideshow are part of another photographic assignment named : Poetic (introvert Prague).
The photography students had to take analogue photos of poetic,introvert Prague,while the photojournalism students had to take digital photos of extrovert Prague.

Using an old Kodak Retina camera, which is a very lovely one but at times hard to focus , is very nice and challenging.
