Is it just my opinion guys , I'm not sure , but I think all of us tend to get stuck in illusions and dreams each time we face s.t we dislike.At least I tend to do this each time I'm annoyed or fed up .
Is it relaxing?Sedative?Placatory? These wouldn't be the right words.Nobody would practice such things , there's no need to relax when you're going nuts.There's no need to abate , when you're pissed off.There's no need to benumb your sentiments when you're down.
I feel I hear you saying: Well , being stuck in illusions/dreams is not that much different from the above escapes..
I have to disagree ..Illusions/dreams don't make you always feel better (of course when you are aware , they're just dreams), still they protect that mere light within you.Make you feel stubbornly stronger , make you feel like you're waiting for something.Give you a reason to survive, a reason to fight and a reason to stand up.
One may call this , fooling & beguiling yourself.
It might not be that smart or healthy and it might not suit nowadays relationships or attitudes, but hell , I enjoy it and will stick with it :)

For example:
Is it -> It is
don't have any idea -> not that I have any clear idea.
You're nuts -> You're going nuts.
to be stuck -> being stuck
I have to reject-> I have to disagree
conscious -> maybe "aware you are dreaming"
into you -> within you
stand upon -> stand up
Btw in english (american standard as I've been taught it) you leave two blank spaces before starting a new sentence.
